近年来，在中国和南非双方高层领导人的推动下，中国与南非双边贸易发展迅速，呈现出良好的发展势头。XX年，尽管中南两国经济都受到了国际金融危机的冲击，但双边贸易额仍然达到了256亿美元，增幅近83%。目前，南非成为中国在非洲的第二大贸易伙伴，中国跃升为南非的最大贸易伙伴。在投资领域，截至XX年，中国累计对南非投资约70亿美元，南非企业在中国的投资约为55亿美元。
inrecentyears,withsupportsfromhigh-levelcadresandleadersofchinaandsouthafrica,thebilateraltradebetweenchinaandsouthafricahasbeendevelopingrapidly,showingsatisfactorytendencyforgrowth.inXX,theeconomiesofchinaandsouthafricawereshockedbytheinternationalfinancialcrisis.however,bothcountriesstillrealized25.6billionu.sdollarsofbilateraltradevolumes,ayear-to-yearincreaseofnearly83%.forthemoment,southafricahasbecomethesecondlargesttradepartnerofchinainafrica,andchinahasbecomethelargesttradepartnerofsouthafrican.inthefieldofinvestment,uptoXX,chinahadaccumulativelyinvestedabout7billionu.sdollarsinsouthafrica,andenterprisesfromsouthafricahadaccumulativelyinvestedabout5.5billionu.sdollarsinchina.
作为中国重要的对外开放门户城市广州，近年来与南非的经贸往来飞速发展。XX年，广州与南非的进出口贸易达到14.42亿美元，同比增长68.1%。其中，广州出口到南非的商品总额为3.06亿美元，增长33.3%，从南非进口11.36亿美元，增长80.8%。由此可见，双方的经贸合作是卓有成效的，是在经济全球化背景下实现互利共赢的又一典范!
